Editorial Policy
NewSoro's editorial standards: how we verify facts, handle AI-assisted content, issue corrections, and maintain editorial independence.
NewSoro is committed to publishing accurate, fair, and transparent AI coverage. This page explains the standards we hold ourselves to and how we handle mistakes when they happen.
Accuracy and Verification
Every article published on NewSoro is based on verifiable sources — official announcements, published research papers, credible news reporting, or direct statements from companies and individuals. We do not publish rumors as fact. When a claim is unverified, uncertain, or based on a single source, we say so explicitly using language like "reportedly," "according to," or "has not been confirmed."
We do not fabricate quotes, invent statistics, or publish made-up ROI figures or performance claims. If we can't verify a number, we don't use it.
AI-Assisted Content
NewSoro uses AI tools as part of the research and writing process. All content is reviewed, edited, and fact-checked by a human editor before publication. AI-generated text is not published as-is — it is a starting point that gets substantially shaped, corrected, and verified. Any factual claims in AI-assisted drafts are independently checked against primary sources.
Sources
We link to primary sources wherever possible — official blog posts, press releases, research papers, and original reporting. We credit other outlets when we build on their work. Anonymous sources are only used when there is a compelling reason and the information can be at least partially corroborated.
Corrections Policy
We make mistakes. When we do, we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted directly in the article with a brief explanation of what was wrong and what the correct information is. We do not silently edit articles to remove errors.
To flag a correction, email [email protected] with "Correction" in the subject line and a link to the article. We investigate all correction requests.
Conflicts of Interest and Disclosure
NewSoro discloses any commercial relationships that could affect coverage. Sponsored content or paid placements are clearly labeled. Editorial decisions — what to cover, how to cover it, what conclusions to draw — are made independently of any commercial relationships.
Scope of Coverage
NewSoro focuses on AI models, tools, industry news, and research. We cover companies of all sizes and do not give preferential treatment to any particular organization. Coverage decisions are based on newsworthiness and relevance to our readers — developers, builders, and people working in or alongside the AI industry.
